Abby Pollock from Toronto, Canada looks painfully thin in photos from five years ago. She was suffering from an eating disorder and sticking to an unhealthily restrictive diet.
🔥WARNING🔥 I'm about to be honest with you. – Yes, this is my real transformation. My butt did grow that much. My boobs – maybe a bit but most of that "growth" is thanks to the add-two-cups Victoria's Secret bra. Fake boobs don't align with my adrenaline junkie tendencies😅. In 2012 I was 20lbs underweight and was struggling on and off with anorexia and binge eating disorder. In 2015 I was at a healthy, but lean weight with some fat, a lot more muscle, and balanced hormones. – Now that we've got that out of the way. Here's what you need to know. 👉I DID NOT get here by taking "supplements", avoiding carbs, drinking slim teas, or doing BS exercises that you see on most IG exercise pages. I built a muscular foundation using compound exercises (not machines), progressed how often I trained + how much weight I lifted over time, and adjusted my diet to meet my training needs. I pulled myself together. I FINALLY got started. I commit to a program. And I let go of the habits that were holding me back. Where I struggled most was with getting started and then committing. I felt like no matter how many articles I read or #fitspo accounts I stalked, there was some gap in knowledge between what they knew and what I was doing🤔. I spent a lot of time reading, getting overwhelmed, feeling frustrated then trying again. It was miserable for a solid few months. 〰This is WHY I put out so much "beginner" content and this is WHY it's so important to me to explain everything I do to you, no matter how simple it sounds. 〰This is WHY I started my group training program. Because there's no program out there that meets you where you are right here, right now and helps you build that foundation in knowledge + muscle. If you've made it this far, you're clearly determined. And I invite you to check out our group training program (LINK IN BIO)👀. Just check it out. This is your chance to FINALLY pull yourself together. FINALLY start. And FINALLY start making progress towards the body + confidence you deserve💕🙏.

Now, Abby enjoys being fit and why wouldn’t she when she’s got this amazing body and a naturally-formed bubble butt. She is proud of her fitness achievement but that doesn’t mean she didn’t go through challenges just to achieve the coveted body that she now has.
What’s ONE EXCUSE you have? 🤔 . I posted this to my story (I actually posted a lot to my story today) but I wanna hear from those of you who didn’t see it. I just put up a new YouTube video talking about ALLLL the excuses I had for not getting back on track. I didn’t feel comfortable in the gym. I didn’t like wearing tight workout clothes. I didn’t like taking progress pictures. I didn’t like anything that reminded me of how far I’d fallen off track – even if it would help me get back on track. Link for that is in my bio. Leave me a comment if you make it all the way through…I want to hear your story 💕🤗
How do you get your caffeine fix ☕️? . Don’t ask questions. It’s for science. Ish. Actually an upcoming YouTube video. Honestly – it’ll all make more sense if you click the link in my bio 👀. . PS – Challenge update yo. We’re doing a Kardashian workout. I’m still not 100% sure what this is gonna entail but I can’t wait to kick it off. I’ve DM’d our winners and will confirm their names once they get back to me. Still have two more spots open. Full info on that in my latest Youtube video (link in bio).
In 2012, Abby suffered from symptoms of anorexia and bulimia. She used to consume only 900 to 1,000 calories daily. Abby just wanted to keep losing weight and she followed diets like raw, raw vegan and paleo.
“I told myself I was following these diets for ethical reasons, when really I was using them as a means to further restrict and cover up my disordered habits.”
In 2013, when Abby learned that her father’s c***** has become terminal and suspected that her boyfriend cheated on her, she decided to reach out for help with her eating habits. She decided to work with a personal trainer and a holistic nutritionist.
Abby now has an eating plan in place: she can eat whatever she pleases as long as she meets the daily calorie requirement set by her nutritionist, which is 1,700 calories.
In an Instagram post, Abby even shared her typical meal plan for the day. She also practices intermittent fasting, an eating strategy that improves insulin sensitivity, which helps the body lose fat easily.
Who’s your favorite superhero?💥👀 Tell me! . New video just went live on my YouTube (link in bio). Instead of the plain old copy the superhero’s workout style vid though, I’m breaking down everything that’s WRONG with Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman workout 😉. This vid is science (and sassiness) packed. PS – mad respect if you can name that rap icon at 5:51 🔥
Abby also spends two hours a day doing cardio exercise. She also does weightlifting and when she started with the lifts, Abby noticed her body transform – and voila, the bubble butt came into place.
WARNING: 💩 TALK AHEAD (plus new video link in bio💕) . I got ballsy last night and sent out an email with the subject line: (talkin shit). Because…well…I was "talkin shit". I was poking fun at how people on social media throw around terms like "transparency", "authenticity" or "real talk". When the only thing that seems to be real about them are their REALly beautiful lives🌈. . Within about 10 minutes of sending that email out, I got an angry reply from someone telling me I was unprofessional, disrespectful, etc for using a "cuss" word in my subject line😲. . This was funny to me. Because this is EXACTLY where I think "transparency" and "authenticity" come in. This is how I talk. I'm not trying to be a fancy professional when I'm on social media. I'm trying to be somebody you can relate to. It's when you view people like me as perfect beings that we develop this disconnect. The exact same disconnect that gets you inspired, but holds you back from taking action. I try to speak to you as I would a friend. I want to help you navigate this whole fitness-y space as a friend would, not some fancy pants trainer who thinks they're god's gift to the world. And so I'll do my best to communicate in the same way I would to a friend. Swear words and all. Because that is me. If you don't like it, we don't have to be internet friends🙃👏.
She shares her progress online, as well as tips for followers who want to make their butts look just like hers.
Sundays are generally my "get your 🍑 in gear" day. This week I'm gonna aim for FOUR (yes 4 😳) YouTube videos. . This week I want to REALLY push myself with lesson planning and sticking to a posting schedule. . What's ONE THING you're going to challenge yourself with this week 🔥? . YouTube: Abby Pollock Fit (link in bio)
Abby’s diet and exercise routine made her gain weight (she weighs 152 lbs.) but she doesn’t care because she feels more athletic and she knows she’s happier.
Do you do any sports? 👀🏃♀️Tell me which! . I grew up pretty athletic (thank you skating and gymnastics for keeping me still kinda flexible🙏). I remember when I stopped figure skating, I felt like a void had been left in my life. It was around then I jumped into weightlifting and not too long after that, bodybuilding competitions. Don’t get me wrong, I loved my time spent bodybuilding but I do miss the rush of being on the ice or seeing how big a drop I could go off with my skis. I think that’s part of what brought me to fitness in the first place. Even if I wasn’t doing anything athletic in the traditional sense, I knew it would make it easier to jump back in. Ok I’m rambling and procrastinating going to the gym, but I’m also feeling way too optimistic after realizing I still kinda have it 🙈. (Ps – new YouTube vid coming tomorrow morn. Filming ALLLLL weekend for you)
The war is ON YouTube😡😤 . Ever feel like you’re seeing the same stuff again…and again…and AGAIN on social? New video on YouTube (link in bio) explaining why this is happening and what I think we can do to fight it. Kinda nervous but also kinda excited to see what happens. Comment if you’re with me 👊.
How extra are you on a scale of 1-10? 😂 . Extra af outfit for how extra excited I am for for this YouTube video. Link in bio to check it out. For real though – I spend most of my days at my desk wearing leggings, big socks, and a hoodie. It’s to the point where I feel like when I do go outside I HAVE to dress with tiered sleeve shirts, leather pants, and 5” heels. It’s called balance✋.
